Waiting For Summer

So it seems as if summer is really never going to come. There were a couple of days where it was almost too hot, and then the next thing you know, it looks like it's about to snow again. With it being the last week of school, we have a ton of outside activities planned, so I hope the weather will finally cooperate for once. Last week was a lot of fun at school.. I can't believe it's almost over. Each day had a theme, and the kids had a lot of fun. On Friday, we took a walking field trip to Discovery Park. Have you ever tried to keep 20 kids out of a very busy street? I was so glad to make it back to school without anyone getting hurt! We had a lot of fun though!



Last weekend I spent a lot of time with some of my really good friends. I work with a girl named Jackie, who is one of the sweetest girls I've ever met- The kind that never worries about herself, but always about other people. We went to Salt Lake on Friday night to hang out with some friends, and then on Sunday I went to church with her. After church we drove up to West Valley to visit my friend Carlos.

I hate this picture, but it's the only one I have of the two of us together. This last Friday night, we went to the Bees game, and once again froze to death to watch the Bees get beat. But it was military night, and they had fireworks after the game, so it was worth it!
